Molly Diane Holycross Azbill, age 64, of Palestine, Texas, passed away into the loving arms of Jesus on Saturday, the 30th day of April 2022. Mrs. Azbill was born in Danville, Illinois, on the 22nd day of May 1957, to parents George Richard Holycross and Joanne Marie Carter Holycross.
Mrs. Azbill was a loving mother and grandmother who took excellent care of her family. She worked as a daycare provider and beautician for over 40 years, two jobs that she loved. Mrs. Azbill loved her time spent outdoors, traveling the country, and quilting. Mrs. Azbill was an extrovert who looked forward to the times she was able to fellowship with her family and friends. On most occasions, she would organize various games to play including Yahtzee and other card games. Mrs. Azbill was a Christian of the Lutheran Faith and will be deeply missed.
Mrs. Azbill is preceded in death by her parents George and Joanne Holycross; husband, Stan Guziec; and two grandchildren, Taylor and Lillie.
Left to cherish Mrs. Azbill’s memory are her daughters Seana Gonzalez and husband Roel of Palestine, Stephanie Guziec of Maine; sisters, Kathleen Holycross and husband Michael Hatcher, and Jeannie Howard; brother, Richard Holycross and wife Annalee; and grandchildren, Julius and Ely. Mrs. Azbill is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
