Modesto Agosto, 88 of Bethlehem passed away peacefully on Friday April 21, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospice House surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Pilar (Ortiz) Agosto for 56 glorious years.
Born February 24, 1929 in Corozal, Puerto Rico he was the son of the late Clemete and Maria Rivera. Modesto worked for Shawnee Penn Furniture for most of his life.
Survivors: in addition to his loving wife, sons William Rivera of Bethlehem, Iram Agosto of Bethlehem and Juan Agosto of Whitehall; daughters Carmen Garriga with her husband Norberto and Natividad Flores both of Bethlehem; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Modesto was preceded in death by his daughter Ana Rivera, and siblings Julio and Irma Rivera.
