Modest T. “Tom” Sciba, 78, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2006, in his home. Tom was born on December 21, 1927, to Frank J. & Stella Sciba. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 28 years of service.
Surviving is a friend, Shirley Flock of South Bend, and nephews. A brother, Bernard Sciba proceeded him in death in December of 2005.
Tom was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church, the German Club, an army veteran of the Korean Conflict, and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars #9820. He was also an avid bowler.
