Mitchell Philip Cole, 39, of Sheridan, died on Sunday April 3, 2016 at home.
Mitchell was born on March 12, 1977, in Sandwich, to Philip and Arlene (Hougas) Cole. He was a graduate of Serena High School. Mitchell was a very talented carpenter and enjoyed working with his hands as well as hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Mitch was a smart, funny and loving father and uncle. He was a member of Community of Christ.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Arlene and Don Jackson, of Sheridan, a son Marshall Cole, of Yorkville, a daughter, Brooklynn Cole, of Sheridan, a brother, Adam Cole, of Santa Monica, CA, and 2 sisters Marcy Black of Independence, MO and Kristen Smith, of Marseilles, a niece, Kathrynn Cole, and nephews, Maxwell Black, Michael Cole and Jacab Cole.
He was preceded in death by his father, Philip, his grandparents, Russell and Marguerite Hougas and M.P. Bunny and Maxine Cole.
