Mitchell Ogonowski, 80, of Schupp Road, Hamden died Feb. 15, 2010 after a brief illness. He was the husband for 61 years of Gloria D’Andrea Ogonowski. Mr. Ogonowski was born in New Haven March 6, 1929, son of the late Walter and Mary Ogonowski. He graduated from Hillhouse High School in 1947 where he was co-captain and center on the football team. He later attended University of Maryland where he also played football. He served in the US Army where he served as a cook. He was the owner and operator of D’Andrea’s Three Acres Motel in Woodbridge for many years.
