On Saturday, October 8, 2022 , Mitchell Lewis, beloved Husband, Father, & Grandfather entered his eternal resting place at the age of 66.
Born to Dorothy Williams & Edward Lewis in Gadston, Alabama. Mitchell graduated from Druid High school and went on to have a career in mental health at Bryce hospital until his retirement.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Edward Lewis and Brother, Alfred Lewis.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Ziegler, Children, Michael Lewis, Lyricka Lewis (Li’Edrick), Skylar Lewis, Brandi Butler(Matthew). Grandchildren, Kamiya Lewis, Kaylee Averett, Amberly Butler, Addison Butler, Aubree Rogers, Margaux Butler, Kalex Lewis, Zavier Barnett, and Mikel Lewis. Sisters, Marguerite Lewis, Deletha Norwood, Mashelia Lewis, and brother Bernard Lewis. He is also survived by several neices, nephews, friends, and extended family.
The family would like to thank Bryce Hospital for the love and support shown to our family and the staff at DCH for the care they gave Mitch & support for our family.
