Mitchell John Miller, 63, of Markleville, peacefully passed away surrounded by family on August 17, 2016 at his residence. He was born on May 14, 1953 in Cincinnati, Ohio and resided most of his life in Markleville. Mitchell served his country in the Navy. He was an avid fisherman, artist, and photographer that loved nothing more than spending time with his family and friends.
He volunteered until he retired as an Emergency Medical Technician for Adams Township Fire Department, which was one of his countless selfless acts. He retired as a master machine repairman for General Motors. Mitchell is survived by his loving spouse of 43 years, Joni (Wallen) Miller; children, Justin (Diana) Miller, Jason (Christine) Miller and Jessica (Shane) Cox, siblings, Mark Miller and Jennifer Adams, grandchildren, Kordia Miller, Ashli Cox, Keagan Cox, Ellaina Miller, Vivian Miller and one on the way, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth (Dold) Miller, father, James Miller, siblings, Michael Miller and Melissa Webber, and granddaughter, Grace Miller.
