Misty Laine Palmer, of Palestine, Texas, passed away from the loving arms of her family into the waiting arms of her Lord and Savior on Monday the 27th day of June 2022. She was 47 years of age when the Lord called her home after a brief battle with cancer. Mrs. Palmer was born in Palestine, Texas on the 16th day of September 1974 to parents Ricky Yorgensen and Lisa Carr Yorgensen.
Mrs. Palmer worked as a L.V.N. for eighteen years, a career that she loved. Helping people was her passion and as a nurse she was able to fulfill that role every day. Mrs. Palmer had many joys in life including fishing, hunting, playing bingo, and watching baseball, specifically the Texas Rangers. She truly enjoyed the time she was able to spend in the great outdoors and she always took advantage of the moments she was able to be present with her family and friends.
Mrs. Palmer was a dedicated Christian, member of Cedar Creek Missionary Baptist Church, and prepared for the day she would join her Savior in Heaven. Even though she is gone from this life, we will hold her close to our hearts until we see her again.
She is preceded in death by her parents Ricky and Lisa Yorgensen.
Mrs. Palmer was dearly loved by her family including her husband of seven years, Keith Palmer; daughters, Mackenzie McClelland, Haley Palmer, and Aspyn Palmer; sons, Colby Sustaita, and Jacob Mobley; brother, Robert Yorgensen and wife Misti; and grandchildren, Dianna Nicole Laine Sustaita, Cyzar Allen Sustaita, and one on the way. She was considered an aunt to many children, by whom she is also survived.
