Melissa “Missy” Ann Phipps, 51, of Anderson, passed away unexpectedly September 22, 2020. She was born on March 24, 1969 in Anderson, Indiana to Woodrow “Woody” and Sue Coots. Missy attended Anderson High School and proudly received her GED.
She loved going to concerts, going to the campground, riding motorcycles, and all animals. Missy is survived by her loving children, Michael and Destiny Phipps; grandchildren, Charity, Skyler and Eli Phipps; mother, Sue Coots; father Woodrow “Woody” Coots; uncle, Richard Mains; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tabbitha Phipps; grandparents, Ronald and Frances Mains, great-grandmother, Hazel Stringer; and uncle, Jack Mains.
