Miriam Kathleen Smith, nee Cox, 71, of Addieville, IL, beloved wife and mother died in her home on August 30, 2014. Miriam was born on January 3, 1943 in Jacksonville, FL. She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and a member of the Centralia, IL ward. She loved her home and family, and enjoyed traveling and working in her yard and on projects around her home. She is preceded in death by her oldest daughter, Daphne Ortiz of Banning CA. She is survived by her husband, Lindsay Smith of Addieville, IL; daughters, Deborah Streeter of Banning, CA and Kimberly Unger of Riverside, CA; son, Daniel LoVette of Eugene, OR; step-son, Michael Smith of Banning, CA; sister, Judith Bailey of Addieville, IL; 16 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
