Miriam Childers Johnson 79, of Sheridan; was called home on January 15, 2021. She was born on February 1, 1941 in Darbyville, Ohio. Miriam is preceded in death by her parents Sim Clarence and Mary Louella (Cloud) Childers. Miriam was a graduate of Sheridan High School, Class of 1959.
Miriam married her high school sweetheart Ronald Lee on February 18, 1961; the two of them have spent 60 years at each other’s side, and he survives her. She had an entrepreneurial spirit, and she started her own cleaning business; she cleaned houses for over 30 years.
She looked forward to her lunches with the Red Hat Society, she also enjoyed gardening and was proud of her garden.
The one thing Miriam and Ronald did was instill their faith into their children who will greatly miss her. She was a loving Mother to Mary Kathleen (Michael) Elliott of Westfield, Daniel Lee (Marylou) Johnson of Florida and Michael Allen (Laura) Johnson of Sheridan.
