Miriam Collins Brown, 92, of Coconut Creek Fl.  passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Miriam was a resident of Coconut Creek for 46 years.

Born and raised in Newark, NJ she moved to Livingston in 1957 with her husband John and then later retired with her loving family and fulfilled their lifelong dream to move to Florida in 1974. Miriam was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Regina, her brother Thomas and her loving husband of 58 years, John.

Nothing meant more to Miriam than her family.  While Mother’s Day is in May, her children felt that every day was Mother’s Day.  They felt so blessed to have a MOM like her.

Friendly, caring, nurturing, supportive, forgiving and loving are just a few words to describe Miriam. She always had a kind word and smile for everyone. She was truly a gentle and loving woman, putting family first and the smile she brought others.  She will be truly missed and never forgotten in our hearts.

Miriam is survived by her children John Thomas of Margate, and Janice Anne of Coconut Creek and Miriam Anne (Robert Jackson) of Boca Raton, 3 grandchildren, Retired Gunnery Sergeant John Robert Brown, USMC and his wife Linda of San Diego, Steven Michael of New York, and Jessica Katherine of Boca Raton, 4 great grandchildren Erynn Mary, John Patrick, Leah Marie and Caden Shawn. She is also survived by her brother Paul along with nieces and nephews.

This would be a message from our Mom to us:

I am sending this from above, even though I am gone from this earth I can still feel your love and all the times we spent together, growing a love that would last forever… they are times that will never leave, because you will always remember me.  I’m sorry about the timing, because I never wanted to leave, but God called me home so I fell into eternal sleep.  I had such a loving family and I am sure you can all make it thru because you have God on your side.

I want you all to know that I am with my loving husband John (Daddy) and we are enjoying this heavenly journey and if you ever need me, just close your eyes and I will be there. I will help you through your life and always remember how much I cared and loved all of you.

With love,

Mom
