He was married to Evelyn Jane Albrecht on Oct. 6, 1938. They had two sons, Thomas David and Steve William.
Miran grew up in a Christian home, trusted in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord at age 8 in 1926 and was baptized at age 16.
He played the violin, harmonica, organ and piano and sang in a quartet with his three brothers. He wrote gospel hymns and self-published them in a book in 2010. He served in the U.S. Army in Europe in WWII from 1944-1946 and in 1957 moved to California where he worked for a number of businesses. Later he worked for the U.S.
Miran made many friends throughout his lifetime and many at Hillcrest.
