Lakeland – Minnie Lee Engle Nelms, 83, passed away Monday, June 2, 2014, as a result of complications of a stroke.
Mrs. Nelms was born May 11, 1931 in Decatur, AL. She and her family moved to Lakeland in 1964. She attended Working Together with Jesus Ministries in Auburndale.
Mrs. Nelms was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clifford Nelms and her loving daughters, Gretchen Nelms and Sandra Jenkins. She is survived by sons, Robert Nelms and his wife, Clara, Dwight Nelms and his wife, Donna and Lee Nelms; sister, Gaynell Kent; brother, Bobby Engle; 5 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
