Minister Stanley Norris, Sr. was born on May 29, 1952 in Alexander City, Alabama to the parentage of the late Rev. Carey Norris, Sr. and the late Susie Edwards Norris.
Minister Norris received the Holy Ghost at an early age and united with Living Word AOH Church of God.
Minister Norris departed this walk of life on Monday, August 9, 2021 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his Rev. Carey Norris, Sr. and Susie Norris, one daughter, Cynthia Norris, one sister, Mary Sue McNeal and one brother, Master Sgt. Steve Norris.
His love and precious memories will forever be remember by his loving children, Aquilla (Quentin) McKinney of Sylacauga, AL; Stanley (Tiamoya) Norris, Jr. and Exavius (Andia) Goffer; three step children, Sheryl (Mike) Foster of Birmingham, AL; Elder Teresa (Anson) Gleaton and Cedric (Dorothy) Patterson of Atlanta, GA; seven grandchildren; five brothers, Carey (Mamie) Norris, Jr. of Alexander City, AL; Larry Norris, Jerry Norris, Robert Norris and Reginald Norris, Sr. all of Sylacauga, AL; five sisters, Linda (Gaston) Nix of Alexander City, AL; Shirley (Larry) Johnson, Phyllis Norris, Peggy Norris and Erica (Gary) Walls all of Sylacauga, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
