Don Alvin Vail (Man) was born on March 9, 1960, in Jesup, (Wayne County), GA to the late Beatrice and Leroy Vail. He graduated from Wayne County High School in 1978. He worked for B.W. Farm for many years. He loved fishing, sports, his favorite teams were the Georgia Bull Dogs and Pittsburgh Steelers.
He was united in Holy Matrimony to Doris Foster Vail on October 10, 1987. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Beatrice Vail, three sisters: Joeann Jenkins, Barbara Deloach, and Yolanda Gibbs.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his devoted wife of 34 years, Doris Vail of Jesup, GA; two daughters: Demetrico Vail and Renarda Vail of Virginia; three sons: D. J. (Brenadia Shanice) Vail, Donta (Khadijah) Vail and Daniel Vail all of Jesup, GA; six grandchildren: Jaque Vail, Jada Couser, Omari Powell, Dae’quan Vail, Jabari Vail and Camryn Vail; one brother, Deacon Allen (Sarah) Vail of Jesup, GA; eight sisters-in-law: Rebecca Powell of Philadelphia, PA, Betty Murphy of Lake City FL, Elder Alice Grant of Screven, GA, Louise Foster of St. Petersburg, FL, Barbara (Matthew) Grant of Screven, GA, Alberta (Jerry) Bryant of Jesup, GA, Rose (Aubrey) Roberts; four brothers-in law: Ricky Deloach of Patterson, GA, David (Kim) Foster of Philadelphia, PA, Robert Gibbs of Baxley, GA and Clyde Foster; two goddaughters: Denise Johnson of Atlanta, GA and Krystal Wilkins of Pensacola FL; aunts: Ernestine (Harry) McCray of Screven, GA, Vera Wallace of Jesup, GA, Lucille Vail of Miami, FL, Rebecca Vail of Boston, MA, Helen Vail Williams of Jesup, GA; special cousins: Sis. Liz McCray, William Vail, Audree Lee Williams, Tukita Ragland, Lester Hank; a special friend, Lady Martha Wilkins; a host of other cousins and friends.
