Minister Carl M. Campbell was born October 13, 1954, in Queens, New York. Carl was the third child of the late Carlise Campbell and Willa Dean Campbell.
Minister Campbell spent his childhood and most of his adult life in New York. He graduated from Bryant High School in 1972. Carl later moved to Arkadelphia, AR after attending a family reunion. After moving to Arkadelphia, Carl worked at the Brake Shoe Plant. He then gained employment at the Hospitality Care Center. It was there that he met his future wife Tori Scott.
