Minerva was born and raised in Robstown. As a single mom, she raised three children who were the family’s first generation of college graduates. Minerva always enjoyed spending time with her family and was strong-willed and uncompromisingly independent. With her family, she enjoyed going camping, shopping at yard sales and traveling around the country with her many beloved family members for whom the trip just wouldn’t be the same without her. When she was not home, you could find her as one of the three amigas at Walmart or bargain hunting at Goodwill with her sister Gloria, and her partner in crime, her brother Frank. Minerva will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
