Milton Roy Overgoner August 12, 1945 – March 12, 2011 BeltonFuneral Services for Milton Roy Overgoner, 65 of Belton will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 17, 2011 at the Belton Church of Christ with Minister Joe Baisden officiating. Burial will follow at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery. Mr. Overgoner, a devoted husband and loving dad, went home to his heavenly father on Saturday March 12, 2011.
Mr. Overgoner was born August 12, 1945, in Hallettsville, the son of Herbert and Lorene (Fertsch) Overgoner. He was a graduate of Hallettsville High School and attended Victoria College. He served his country as a member of the U.S. Air Force. He married Marjorie Lumpkins, July 16, 1971 in Bloomington. Milton worked for 33 years with the U. S. Postal service in Pasadena, Victoria and Waco in various positions including clerk, letter carrier, mail handler, maintenance and custodial. He was a member of the Belton Church of Christ.
Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Marjorie Overgoner of Belton; son Brian Overgoner and wife Ricka of Nacogdoches and daughter Tawnya Miller and husband Heath of Harker Heights; his loved sister Merle Jones and husband Ralph of Lake Jackson; fourteen nieces and nephews; and his two little rays of sunlight, grandchildren Brooke and Blake Miller.
