Randy Taylor of Fairfield, a gentle soul and gentleman, passed away August 30, 2017.  He was known to many simply as Randy, a quiet man with an ear to listen to any and all.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa, and their children Randy Jr., Katharine, and her son Roman.  His older son, James and wife, Kristal, live in Virginia with their six children: Emily, Christopher, Kylie, Sophia, Matthew and Michael.  His family was a great source of pride for him.

Always on a mission, never sitting still for too long, Randy loved participating and driving in parades, lending a helping hand to friends and neighbors, and working and tinkering on motors, cars, and anything that had power.  A car enthusiast and collector of many, one of his favorite things to do on a beautiful afternoon was drive his yellow dune buggy.

Also an avid rodeo and cowboy aficionado, Randy won many bull riding championships.  One could always find him in a crowd due to his tall stature and beloved cowboy hat and boots.   He loved life and lived it to the fullest.  He had a great ride.

Happy trails to you, until we meet again!
