Ware- Milton L. Robar, 84, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022 surrounded by love of his family. Milt was born in Springfield, September 5, 1938 to the late Milton J. and Lillian M. (Gonyea) Robar. Milt graduated from Springfield Trade School and enlisted in the United States Navy where he served as a radarman aboard the USS Sullivans. He was honorably discharged in 1961. Milt was a cabinet maker and finish carpenter by trade, he was self employed for over 30 years. For many years he lived in Palmer and then moved south to Alabama where he built a retirement home before returning to the area to be closer to family. Milt was active with the Falcon Club of America, the DAV and the volunteer Fire Department in Shinbone Valley, Lineville, Alabama.
Milt leaves his wife of 62 years, Phyllis M. (Bernard) Robar and their children, Michael Robar and wife Kathy of Palmer, Michelle Loglisci and husband Joseph of Monson; brother, Neil Robar and wife Patricia of Florida; sisters, Eileen Marra of North Carolina, Janice MacLeod of North Carolina, Beverly Schleicher of Florida; two grandsons, Nicholas Loglisci and wife Nina, Steven Loglisci and wife Toni and four great grandchildren with another one about to be. Milt was predeceased by his sister Jacqueline Smith.
