Milton Berry Halterman, 82, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2021, with his loving wife of 64 years, Ann, by his side. He was born July 23, 1938, in Hickman County, Kentucky, and moved to Evansville, Indiana as a small child.

Mr. Halterman, affectionately known as “Dink”, was a general aviation pilot. He later became involved in ultralights and became an ultralight instructor in his adopted state of Florida where he and Ann resided for 34 years.

He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and boating enthusiast. Prior to moving to Florida in 1987, Mr. Halterman and Ann owned and operated Halterman Services, Inc/NET (a trucking firm) and Halterman’s Mascot/Sunoco Service Station.

He was a friend and good neighbor to all that knew him and will be greatly missed.

Mr. Halterman was preceded in death by his daughter, Margaret Ann, and son, Gene Berry.

He leaves behind his wife of 64 years, Ann; brother, James; and several nieces and nephews.
