Milton Anthony “Tony” Henkins, 75, of rural Jacksonville, IL died Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Jacksonville Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Jacksonville.
He was born May 3, 1937 in Putnam, IL; the son of Everett and Martha Finch Henkins.
He is survived by two children, Tony Russell Henkins and Ladosha Bystery, both of Kewanee; two grandchildren; and three nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles Henkins.
Tony was a retired truck driver and formerly served with the US Army during the Korean War.
