Milo J. Wert, 91, of Fishers, passed away Monday, April 04, 2011 at Prairie Lakes of Noblesville Health and Nursing Facility. Born, August 25, 1919 in South Bend, he was the son of Milo J. Wert Sr. and Pearl (Miller) Wert.

Milo was the plant manager at Indiana Bell in Lebanon retiring after 41 years of service to the company. He was a Sergeant for the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a member of the Fairview United Methodist and the Lions Club in Bloomington.

Milo was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed camping and fishing.

Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Dorothy Wert of Fishers, two sons, Ronald J. Wert (Ruth) of Scottsdale, AZ; Carl J. Wert (Donna) of Indianapolis, daughter-in-law, Ruth Wert of Nashville, grandchildren, William Wert in the U.S. Navy, Laura Wert of Virginia, Janet Kopp of Ventura, CA; Karen Fisher of Spencer, Nathanael Wert of Scottsdale, AZ; Elizabeth Petersen of Scottsdale, AZ; Michael S. Wert of Noblesville, 17 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Larry J. Wert.
