Mille Provenza Smith, 63, died Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at her home in Oxford, MS..M. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Joe Tonos officiating…M. until 6:00 P.M…Born in Greenville, MS to the late Mildred Person and Sam Provenza, Mille was an active member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Formerly, she worked as an educator, teacher and administrator with Memphis City Schools and was the principal of Holy Family School in Holly Springs. Mille was a loving mother, active grandmother and devoted Ole Miss sports fan.Survivors include three sons, Samuel “Bo” Smith and his wife, Natalie of Oxford, Carter Smith and his wife, Ann Marie of Brandon, MS and Collins Smith and his wife, Taylor of Oxford; two sisters, Marcy Turpen and her husband, Chuck of Piperton, TN and Margaret Burke of Memphis, TN; three grandchildren, Cole, Shelton and Hayes; three nieces, Mille, Katie and Hart and one nephew, Trey..
