Millard James Robinson, better known to family and friends as “Buddy and Horse” a native and resident of Whatley, was born Oct. 1, 1941 to the parentage of Clarence Robinson and Anita Pugh Robinson. He made earthly transition on May 23, 2021 while at Providence Hospital. Millard was a member of the First Baptist Church in Whatley and was a United States Army veteran. He was a painter by trade until his health failed and enjoyed singing gospel music and spending time with family and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents; one sister, Ruby Lee Robinson ( Silas,Sr.) Law; niece, Janice Marie Law; and two nephews, Alfred and Darren Law.   Left to cherish his loving memories are his sister, Tilda (John) Jones of Whatley,AL; one brother, Clarence (Mary) Robinson of Silver Springs, MD; two god-brothers, Larry (Bessie) Pugh of Whatley and Dozier (Rose) Pendleton of Toledo, OH; ten nephews: David (Phyllis) Law and Reginald Law, both of Grove Hill, AL, Silas Law Jr. of Lacy, WA, Bartkowski  Law of  Macon,GA, Nicholas (Tomoyo) Robinson of Yokohama, Japan, Corey (Azia) Jones of Huntsville, AL, Patrick (Sundey) Law of Jacksonville, FL, Julius(Laura)Law, Braeden Watters of Pittsburgh, PA, and Tyzell Jones of Whatley,AL; 10 nieces, three devoted: Jasmine Robinson of Pittsburgh, PA,Dyesia Law of Whatley,AL, and Earl Dean Law of Petersburg, VA; a devoted friend, Wynette Robinson and children of Whatley, AL; a host of cousins, three devoted: Marilyn (Johnny) Grant, Wendy (Tyrice) Denson and son, Tyreke of Whatley, AL and Gary (Yvette) Harris of Plano, Tx. Lester ( Nonie) Robinson of Grove Hill. A host of other cousins, relatives and friends.
