Millard Franklin Webb passed from this life to his eternal home with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, from brain cancer at age 79 at his home in Florissant, Colorado on October 6, 2022, at 11:45pm
Millard was born in Wilmington, Delaware on March 13th, 1943. His parents were Carl Springer Webb and Gertrude Blakely Moorehouse. Siblings included brothers, Carl Webb, John Webb, and William Webb, and sisters, Doris Webb Doughten, Amy Webb Peachy. He was predeceased by his parents and his 3 brothers. Millard was married on May 6, 1990, to Jean Marie Williams Koppenhaver at Sandy Cove Bible Conference center, Northeast, Maryland.
He served in the United States Marine Corp from September 1961 through January 1966. He earned a good conduct medal and a Rifle Marksmanship Badge. He served in the Cuban Blockade and was an amphibious tractor crew member. In civilian life, he was an industrial electrician and instrumentation mechanic primarily for Monsanto chemical company. Millard enjoyed gardening and had a large greenhouse in which he grew corn, tomatoes, zucchini, red beets, carrots, and yellow wax beans. He loved sharing his produce with family and friends.
Millard is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jean, of Florissant, Colorado. He is also survived by his sons, Franklin Webb of Pennsylvania and his wife Maria, and Martin Webb of Mickleton, New Jersey and his wife Desorae. He also had two stepsons, Bruce William Koppenhaver of Street Maryland and his wife Jennifer and David Matthew Koppenhaver of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and his wife CariAnn. Millard had 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild with a second great grandchild expected in February. He also had numerous nieces and nephews.
