Lois M. Black (Mili) went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 22, 2004. “Mili” was born to Ruben and Bertha Boulier July 7, 1914 in Fort Fairfield, Maine and grew up in Caribou, Maine. She was one of nine children and her eight siblings preceded her in death. Many nieces and nephews, who include Duane Lovely of Newport, Maine and a grand niece, Kelly McTague, also of Newport, Maine survive her. Mili leaves many friends at the First Baptist Church of Leon Springs where she was a long time member. She helped the church minister to the community for many years. Part of that ministry included leading a bible study class at the Hill Top Nursing Home n Boerne. She was a resident of The Villa Mobile Home Park where she lived nearly 20 years before entering the Town and Country Nursing Home n Boerne in November 2003. Mili was a Civil Service employee and worked in Army Communications in Okinawa for twenty-four years. She will be missed by her friends in Leon Spring as well as Boerne.
