Mildred Wilson Mills Gillespie, 86, passed away May 16, 2012 at Bethany Pointe Health Campus after an extended illness.
She was born October 12, 1925 in Gaffney, SC, and resided in Anderson. Mildred retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 32 years of service. She was a member of the Anderson Lady Elks, past President of Madison County Ladies Shrine Club, and a member of the UAW Local 662. She is survived by her son, Terry P. Wilson Jana of Middletown, Ohio; brother, Jerry L. Mills Lois of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; grandchildren, Eric Wilson of Middletown, Ohio, and Lindsay M. Boehning Matt of Greenwood; one great grandson, Benjamin R. Boehning of Greenwood; one nephew, Jim Mills Kim and their children, Nichole, Nicholas, and Abby Mills; step-sons, Hubert “Bud” Gillespie Lynn of Royal Oak, Michigan and William “Bill” Gillespie of AuGres, Michigan; special friends, Bud Trick, Betty Dunson, and Rhonda Jarrett; .
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold & Maggie Grooms Mills; husbands, Paul C. Wilson and Hubert Gillespie; and son, Timoth L. Wilson.
