She was preceded in death by her first husband, John C. Smith; her parents, William E. “Bill” Williams and Edna (Lowe) Williams; her second husband, Joel C. Kirkland; and daughter, Mary Jo Kirkland.
She is survived by sons Dennis (Pat) Smith, Paul (Jennifer) Smith of Okeechobee, and Joe (Gloria) Kirkland of Terrell Texas. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
