Born in Clayville, RI on February 10, 1916 She was the daughter of the late William B. and Corinne (Almy) Buffinton.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Francis J. Leclair, two sisters Ruth Buffinton and Doris Sandsea.
She is survived by her two daughters Joan Galloway and her husband Donald and Marie Bitzko and her husband John all of Exeter.
6 Grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 5 step-great grandchildren, 4 step-great great grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren, A niece, a great niece and cousins
She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church, Hope Valley, a member of Home makers in hope Valley, a member of the Women’s Auxiliary for Exeter Fire House 2
She was the former director of Welfare in Exeter. She worked at the Trudeau Center, Ladd School and was a special needs bus driver for Galloway School Lines and the Exeter/West Greenwich School District.
