Mildred “Millie” Ingram, age 88, of Storm Lake, Iowa died on Sunday, December 18, 2005 at Storm Lake.
Mildred Rachel Challand was born to Clarence and Fannie May (Paul) Challand on March 2, 1917 in Eston, Saskatchewan, Canada. She lived in Eston until 1921before moving to rural Lake City, Iowa in the United States. In 1931 she moved to rural Fonda, Iowa, where she attended high school and graduated from Fonda High in 1935.
On November 9, 1940, Millie married Lonney Ingram in Fort Dodge, Iowa. They were blessed with four children: David, Steven, Raymond and Ann.
Left to cherish her memory are her son David Ingram of Juneau, Alaska; son Steve Ingram of Eagle Grove, Iowa; daughter Ann Lewis of Storm Lake; sister Florence Endersbe of Laurens, Iowa; sister Mary Shaffer of Cook Nebraska; sister Delores Street of Bellevue, Nebraska; grandchildren: Amanda Lewis of Spencer, Iowa and Skyler Ingram of Eagle Grove, Iowa; as well as many other relatives and a host of friends.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, son Raymond, grandson Lonney and two sisters: Ruth Carlson and Alta Pauk.
