Mildred “Millie” Walters, 91, of Centralia, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Fireside House of Centralia. She was born September 10, 1927 in Marked Tree, Arkansas, daughter of Jesse Shipman and Mary Alice (Erp) Shipman.
She married August Eugene Kramer and he preceded her in death. She later married Tommy Walters and they later divorced.
Millie is survived by three daughters: Shelby Garrison and husband Jack of Walnut Hill, Shelia Diane Kramer of Texas, and Letha Faye Kramer of Centralia; a granddaughter: Michelle Hall and husband Mark of Monmouth, Illinois; four great-grandchildren: Aspen Paige Clegg and husband Chris, Sarah Bettlach and husband Nick, Bailey Burns, and Shelby Brumfield and husband Chase; eight great-great-grandchildren: Christopher Jaxon Clegg, Oakley and Huck Brumfield, Cooper and Weston Burns, and Harper, Cartar and Peytan Bettlach; a brother: Doyle Shipman and his wife; a sister: Claudia Hull of Florissant, Missouri; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Jesse and Mary Alice Shipman, husband: August Kramer, two granddaughters: Kimberly Ann and Jennifer Lynn, two brothers: Jay Shipman and Don Shipman, four sisters: Sissy Shipman, Hazel Dye, Helen Wiemert, and Mary Lunsford.
Millie was a Beautician for many years. She was a member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church in Centralia and Irvington Woman Club. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
