Mildred McWhorter Judy, 83, of Hixson, died Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Judy graduated from Lakeview High School where she was Queen of her junior year. She attended UTC. She and Dr. Judy resided in Clarksville, Virginia where she was very active in the Arts Community and won many awards for her paintings. In 1992 she was presented the Citizen of the year award. They moved in 1993 to Waynesville, NC where they remained until Dr. Judy’s death in 2001. Mrs. Judy then returned to Chattanooga to be near her family. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her mother, Fannie Watkins McWhorter. She is survived by her son, Don (Peggy) Lamb, grandson, Greg Lamb, Harrison; two great grandchildren, Haden Lamb, Harrison; Raegan Lamb, Ringgold;brother, C.J. (Mildred) McWhorter, Chattanooga.
