Mildred Marie Whitman Plummer, 98, of Salisbury passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022 at Autumn Care of Salisbury.
Born in Rowan County on June 4, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Mamie Peeler and John Thomas Whitman.
Mrs. Plummer retired from Stanback Powder Company. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, where she was active in all phases of the church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Locke Plummer and daughter-in-law, Debbie Barrier Plummer.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Rev. Lynn Plummer (Debbie) and Dale Plummer, both of Salisbury; grandchildren, Joshua Plummer, Hannah Plummer, Lynn Plummer, II, and Aaron Plummer (Kayla); great-grandchildren, Maddox Plummer, Merritt Plummer, and Eli Plummer.
