Mildred M. Bailey
Middle River – Mildred “Marie” Bailey, 93, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care Center at Franklin Square.
She is survived by John G Curry and wife Carolyn, Lynn Lewis and Charles L Bailey and wife Sherri, loving grandchildren John G Curry, Jr., Michelle Curry, Jason Lewis, Jennifer Lewis, Tiffany Opert, Charles Bailey, Jr. and many great grandchildren.
She was predeceased in death by her husband of 51 years, Cyrus Leon Bailey.
Mildred worked at Crown Cork and Seal during the war years when she moved to Baltimore from Webster Springs, WVA. She also worked at Beta Shoe Company at Belcamp, MD in the mid-seventies.
She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, quilting, jigsaw puzzles in the winter, word find puzzles and reading a good book. She was a strong women of mind and soul and a supportive, loving wife, mother, grand- mother and sister.
