Mildred Lucille Lingold, age 83, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021. She was born on June 29, 1938. She was preceded in death by her parents; Jim Coley and Lucille Oglesby; sons, Cecil Lewis Gates, Luther Jackson Gates, Emmett Labron Murphy; grandchild, Lee Johnson.
She is survived by her husband, Stanley Lingold of Dalton; daughter, JoAnn Brown of Dalton; sons, James “JL” Giddens of Dalton, Hugh “Jack” Gates of Dalton; brothers, James Coley of Chattanooga, Paul Coley of Chattanooga; sisters, Martha Bussell of Tampa, FL, Lydia Fryer of Chattanooga, Mary Katherine Swaggerty of Texas, Dorothy Jean of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Anthony Brown, Valerie Giddens, Heather Trammell, Amanda Corn; 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank, Jessica Payne of Rock Springs, GA, her caregiver for taking such great care of her.
