On Thursday, November 5, 2015 we lost Mildred Hunt Manwaring. Mildred passed away peacefully surrounded by her family from complications due to a stroke. She passed just 6 days short of her 97th birthday.

Mildred was born November 11, 1918 at her home in Indian Valley, ID to Charles Jackson and Edith Andrew Jackson. She was the 3rd of 4 children. She attended high school in Cambridge, ID.

Shortly after her mission, she met Ted Hunt. They spent a lot of time fishing and dancing. They were married in October of 1939 in Cambridge, Id. They made their home in the Council, ID area. Ted and Mildred had 4 children, Kay, Danny, Steve, and Doug. In 1955 the family moved to Weiser. Ted and Mildred were divorced in 1961.

Leo and Mildred served LDS missions in Idaho Falls and the Crow Indian Reservation in Montana.

Mildred and Leo were blessed to spend some time traveling.

Even though Mildred enjoyed traveling she was most content at home with her family and friends.

Mildred is survived by her daughter, Kay (Tom) Campbell; sons, Danny (Vera) Hunt, Steve (Nancy) Hunt and Doug (Linda) Hunt. Her stepchildren, Roger Manwaring, Adele (Victor) Austin, and Elaine Manwaring. She has 20 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by Leo Manwaring; Ted Hunt; stepdaughter, Julene Morgan Fasy; and grandson, David Morgan.
