Mildred L. Cox Gustin, 100, Anderson, passed away May 7, 2009 at Rawlins House, Pendleton after a short illness. She was born August 2, 1908 in Aroma, Indiana, and resided in Anderson most of her life. Mildred was a homemaker.

She was a member of Anderson First United Methodist Church; Mounds Garden Club; Progresive Club; Needlecraft Club; and was active in her church where she was a member of the United Methodist Women.

She is survived by her four children, Margaret A. Franzen of Richmond, Eleanor L. Hickman of Pendleton, Mary Jane & husband James Buxton of Crossville, Tennessee and Kathryn B. Allison of Florida; grandchildren, Ann & husband Bill Roha, Susan & husband Don Osborne, John & wife Eileen Hickman, Steven Hickman, Cynthia & husband Michael Skronski, Susan Hickman, Joel & wife Sue Franzen, Keith Buxton, Kevin & wife Louanna McCarty, Elizabeth Bowen and Darin McCarty; several great grandchildren, two nieces, one nephew and one cousin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Omar Gustin who passed away in 1973; four sisters, one brother, three sons-in-law, Heydon Franzen, James Hickman and Terry Allison and two grandsons, Carl Franzen and James Hickman.
