Mildred K. Friar, 94, of Indianapolis, passed away on April 22, 2014. Mildred was born on May 7, 1919, in Marion, IN to James and Irene (Miller) Meredith. She was married to the late Verlin Friar. She is also preceded in passing by her parents and sister Delores Echols.
Mildred is survived by her son; Gregory (Ona) Friar, Indianapolis, sisters; Bonnie Snow, Jemison, AL and Frances Benner, Fort Myers, FL, brother Colonel James (Barbara) Meredith, Colorado Springs, CO, grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; and Natalia, Darren, Joel, and Emma Friar all of Indianapolis.
