Mildred Aline Burk, née Kindelan, died at home on December 23 with her daughter Christine Burk by her side. She was born in Jeanette, Pennsylvania, on November 14, 1924.
Millie was a trailblazer, the first in her family of six children to graduate from college (Seton Hill College, Greensburg, Pennsylvania).
In 1951, she married Frank T. Burk and they lived for many years in the Pittsburgh area before retiring to Gulf Breeze in 1989. As well as her daughter Christine, she is survived by daughters Mary Katherine, Susan, and Karen, her grandson Sam, and her sister Patricia Idzik.
