Mrs. Mildred (Muchie) Knight, age 79, of Wilson, passed Friday, February 21, 2014 at Wilson Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Charlie Knight, Jr.; her parents, Lisbon and Annie Allen Jones; five brothers, Bobby Jones, Billy Ray Jones, Albert Jones, Jr., Willie Jones and John Jones; seven sisters, Sue Mitchell, Betty Ruffin, Alma G. Jones, Annie Jones, Mary Jones, Annie Bartlette and Helen Edwards.
She leaves loving memories to: one brother, Robert O. Jones and wife, Gerald of Wilson; two sisters, Pastor Carolyn Joyner of Wilson and Phoebe Jones of Virginia; Her extended family whom she loved dearly, Melanie Womble and her sons, Brody Heath and Brewer Heath, whom she considered her grandchildren, Betty Brewer Strickland, Penny Womble, Jimmy Miller and Allyson Miller Moye; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
