Alvin and Mildred lived in Aberdeen, Idaho; Grand Cooley, Washington; Twin Falls, Idaho and finally settled in Mountain Home, Idaho, where they built their family home and raised their three children:  daughter Janis and sons, Richard (Dick), and Donald (Don). After their children were raised, Mildred continued her bookkeeping career, working for her cousins Marilyn and Jerry Carrico, who operated a fuel oil franchise in Mountain Home. Alvin passed away January 28, 1983.

Mildred had a cherished relationship with the Living God. She made her choice to serve Him in 1947 while sitting in gospel meetings under the teaching of Eddy Shearer and Wilford Hill. She was known to say, “I didn’t know much, but I knew I loved the people and I loved what I was hearing.” Mildred served the Lord faithfully for the rest of her life and cherished the privilege of hosting Sunday morning meetings in the home she shared with Alvin and the home she shared with Elmer.

Mildred entered into rest, May 13, 2022.

Mom is deeply loved and will be sorely missed. We take comfort in knowing she finished well and is now in the arms of her Lord and Savior.
