Mildred Marie Gilbert Kalanick,75, of Sheridan, Arkansas was born July 16, 1939 in Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of the late James Andrew and Allie Agnes Vokey Gilbert. She enjoyed shopping, fishing, camping and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Kalanick died Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Kalanick, grandson Chad Stricklin, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
Survivors: sons, Ricky Stricklin; Jay and wife Patressia Stricklin all of Sheridan; daughter, Marilyn Kay and husband Joe Ellis of Little Rock; brother, Wendy and wife Laverne Gilbert of Sheridan; sisters, Mabel Forrester of Roland, Andrulene Jarrett of Camel, Missouri, Ellen Plunkett of Clinton; grandchildren, Joseph and wife Tiffany Ellis, Mandy and husband Brandon Mercer, Jessica and husband Brandon Bolls, Danielle and husband Drew Thomas, Britney and husband Thomas Harrington, JayAnna Stricklin and Bobby, Cassie and husband Zach Nyhill, Eric and wife Jennifer Stricklin; great grandchildren, Jaxon, Lauren, Madyson, Braxton, Hailey, Aleigha, C.J., Erin, Ian, Bryton, Adison, JayPaul and 2 on the way, as well as her faithful companions, Noah and Romeo and many nieces, nephews and friends.
