Mildred L. Gentle, 83 of Huntsville passed away Sunday, May 8.
Our Mother had a great love for all her children and endeared each moment with her family. Her love will always be in our hearts! She was a member of Brownsboro Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Tinnie (Hughey) Atchley; husband, William C. Gentle; son, James William Gentle; Sister, Ruby Hall, Brother, J.W. Atchley.
Survivors: son, Robert Wayne Gentle Sr., wife Carolyn; daughter, Rhonda Posey, husband Sherman; one granddaughter, Melody Sharpe; four grandsons, Tim Posey, Bobby Gentle, wife Tracie; Billy Gentle, wife Cindy, Brian Gentle; four great-granddaughters, Holly Sadler and husband Christopher, Lauren Sharpe, Kristen and Bethany Gentle; three great-grandsons, Robert, Will, and Isaac Gentle; grandpuppy Princess. Two sisters: Jennie Sublett and Eva Ikard. She embraced as a son Tommy Thompson; she embraced as grandchildren; Marsha Quick, Lori Brooks, Linda Hampton, Debbie Allen & Jason Ikard. Many loving nieces, nephews and friends. A much cherished friend Cora [Smith] Bingham of 55 years!
