Mildred (Fluellen) Sears, 76, of Meriden, wife of Marion Sears, Jr. for fifty-nine years, departed this life to be with her heavenly father on Monday, May 11, 2015 at Masonic Hospice. Born in Columbus, GA, she was the daughter of the late Mary Johnson and the late A.C. Fluellen. Mildred had a passion for children and she started her employment with Meriden Day Care Center in 1971. After retiring in 2000, she worked on a part time basis until her health became an issue.
