Mildred was born July 20, 1938 to Harold and Charlotte (Nurnberg) Voecks in Norfolk. She grew up on a farm in Northwest of Hoskins and attended school in Hoskins.
Mildred married Arlen Dittman and they made their home in Norfolk. She worked at a nursing home in Norfolk until retirement.
She is survived by her children, Sue Waterman of Norfolk, Steve and June Thayer of Pierce, Dan and Carol Thayer of Pierce, 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Arlen.
