Mildred Gaither Day, age 93, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the Benton House in Newnan. She was born on February 1, 1922 in Fulton, MI to the late Eugene Gaither and Velora Pierce Gaither. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Edward J. Day and siblings Paul Gaither, James Gaither, Elizabeth Roberts and Dot Gaither. Mildred is survived by sons; Jim Day and his wife Jan of Newnan, Mike Day and his wife Patty of Boulder Colorado, grandchildren; Jamie Day and his wife Kelli of Braselton GA., Jason Day and his wife Dawn of Racine WI., Jennifer Stanhagen of Newnan and Nicole Day of Los Angeles, CA. She is also survived by great grandchildren Mackenzie Day, Jake Day, Parker Stanhagen, Peyton Stanhagen, Kaden Day, Nicholas Day and sister Jo Staub of Fulton,MS.
