Mildred Casper Ackerman, 87, of Newington, died peacefully at New Britain General Hospital, on July 20, 2016. She is survived by her daughters Elaine Ackerman, of Berlin, CT and Lynn Munno of Pinellas Park, FL. She was blessed to have 3 grandchildren, Jessica, Gregory and Antonia, as well as 5 Great Grandchildren, Bridget, Sophia, Aeris, August and Walker. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Ackerman, son James Ackerman and her second husband, James Gluth. Mildred was a long time employee of Fafnir Bearing Co., She loved to travel and enjoyed fine dining and champagne. She kept up to date with current events, politics and the stock market.
