Mildred E. Carey (nee McGreevy), 78, of Toms River, NJ, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015, at home. Born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, she lived in Kearny, NJ before moving to Toms River 25 years ago.
Mildred worked for Mutual Benefit Life in Newark, NJ, and was a parishioner of St. Justin RC Church, Toms River. She was predeceased by her husband Bartholomew “Bart” Carey in 2011.
Mildred is survived by her 2 sons and daughters in law Bart & Tracy Carey of Hampton Bays, Long Island, NY, and John & Mary Carey of Brick, NJ, 2 sisters Joan Kurc of Toms River, and Jacqueline McGreevy of Jersey City, NJ, and 5 grandchildren Samantha, Rebecca, Theresa, John & Bart.
